The neighbors at a block party in front of their houses: Rosa with a tray of cookies, Roger, Katerina, Larve in his purple top hat beside his brass machine, and DaJohn at the grill.

The neighborhood

Welcome to the block

Every few weeks, the neighbors close off the street, hang the bunting and fire up the grill for a block party. Rosa brings the food, DaJohn runs the grill, Katerina puts on a show and Roger keeps score. And sooner or later, everybody ends up at Larve's machine.

The host

Larve

Larve lives in the big black mansion at the top of the street. He's the life of every block party, but nobody has ever been past his gates, and one upstairs window glows purple long after everyone else has gone to bed.

The machine

Larve's machine

He built it for the block parties: a cabinet of brass, gears and furnaces that builds the blocks, delivers the garbage and hands out the powerups. Wherever a game breaks out, Larve wheels it into that neighbor's yard.

Three ways to play

Classic

Chains and garbage

Swap blocks side to side to line up three or more alike. Set off chains and combos to drop garbage on your opponents, then dig out of whatever they send back.

Word Party

Spell it out

Spell words of four letters or more, across or down. Longer words send more garbage.

Math Party

Make it true

Line up true equations like 3+4=7, across or down. The bigger the number, the harder it hits.

Plus nine powerups, earned by matching special blocks.
